The changes in treatment are like the difference in the space program, ... We went to the moon in '69. Now, we have the space shuttle, and we're talking about going back to the moon again.

All I can do is play as good as I can. I want to make Jack's team. He's the greatest player ever. Jack has been good to me since I've first been out here.

This is a great tournament. But it's not ever going to get more important than the four majors. That's the fundamental problem.

For the most part, depending on the conditions, the golf course still lends itself to a large variety of players being able to do well and possibly win the golf tournament. You know, we don't get that very many weeks anymore.

I drive it straight, hit decent iron shots and the greens are pretty nice here. I know my way around.

If I had played any good today, I would have had a tremendous chance. I need to go home and think about it, I guess.

If I had played out here (Thursday), I probably would be kicking dirt and wanting to get the heck out of here.

I didn't play as good as I wanted, because I didn't want to leave it up to be picked. But I wanted to make this team. It will be fun playing for Jack, and it's fun to represent your country.

Hey, I keep going. I think if you get it close enough times, eventually I'll kick it in and be unbeatable or somebody is going to help me out. I'd just as soon keep trying to play good and keep having good chances and we'll see what happens.

I just hope this time my ball goes in and I drive that car off that's standing in the water.
